Lightswitch took animation to new heights when creating a video for the Gulf Shores airport, all without needing to step foot onsite.
Filming a video can be challenging when routes are constantly changing and information becomes out of date between script approvals and final takeoff. The Gulf Shores airport needed a video highlighting the wide variety of destinations travelers can fly to, without the expense or rigidity of being on the ground in each location.
To accentuate everything the airport has to offer, Lightswitch crafted storyboards and a script before moving on to animation, showcasing urban/city destinations through animated iconography. By creating swappable elements - and relying on animation instead of live action - we were able to provide levels of flexibility for airport clients to keep up with changing routes, all while creating a standard for future videos.
